MADS MARTIN LOVES STORIES!

Mads’s love for stories is lifelong. Mads has been consuming stories in all of their forms for as long as they can remember: Books, movies, television, theater, and everything in between! They have been making their own stories and putting them into pictures for almost as long, whether it was through personal writing or games like Dungeons & Dragons!

These skills, combined with a fascination for the human psyche, came together when Mads learned about Graphic Design. Design is more than just pretty pictures: It’s complex visual problem solving, it’s creative solutions, it’s critical thinking, and it’s a new story every time.

Mads is a two-time graduate from Central Piedmont Community College. With their first degree being in printing and the graphic arts, they know all about what is possible in output and how to design for it appropriately. Their Graphic Design degree came next, and through it came a love for teaching. Now, Mads is on a quest to engage with as many different types of design and illustration as they can, and they could not be more excited to help you tell your story!
